I'm a bit new to the development world, coming from an infrastructure side into setting up a new Web Application for our infrastructure.
I'm putting together an ASP.NET Web API based APP that will be used to show data about servers to our customers. I've got the basics of adding and removing data, but now just looking at how I can filter the data from an API GET (Or Put/Patch) request to only show the servers owned by a particular customer.
Each server object has a customer Parameter within the Model definition and I would like to apply a filter to only show the servers which are owned by the customer based on the Customer Parameter.
An Odata Filter within the Controller seems to be my first idea but wasn't sure if there would be a better way to go about it?
Sorry if this has been asked before, wasn't too sure what to search for.
